Fayette County residents charged in tire iron attack in Uniontown

Two Fayette County residents are in jail after allegedly assaulting a person in Uniontown Monday night. Ryan Miciotto, 34, of Uniontown and Angelina Lawver, 34, of Hopwood, are charged with aggravated assault and a related count of conspiracy, along with similar pairings for simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct. According to charging documents, shortly after 6 p.m., Uniontown police arrived at a home on Locust Street as Miciotto and Lawver were assaulting Miciotto鈥檚 girlfriend, Lindsay Custer. A Fayette County man whose 2-year-son drowned after climbing into an aboveground pool while unsupervised in July 2024 was sentenced to house arrest followed by probation.
