Colonials end season with win over B-C

Albert Gallatin snapped an 11-game losing streak with a season-ending, 6-1 non-section baseball victory over host Beth-Center on Friday.
Ben Lilley smacked a double and a single and drove in three runs for the Colonials (2-18), who also got a double and two RBIs from winning pitcher Kanyon Sutton and a double from Billy Craig.
Albert Gallatin scored two runs in the first before the Bulldogs (1-17) plated their lone run in the top of the second when Jamison Bohna singled in Austin Kurowski.
The Colonials answered with two more runs in the bottom of the second and pushed across two more in the fifth.
Kaiden Brady and Kayden Perez both had a hit and two runs scored for AG.
Sutton allowed one run on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts in six innings. Nico Edwards pitched a scoreless seventh.
Bohna had two hits for Beth-Center. Losing pitcher Jacob Nopwaskey surrendered five earned runs on seven hits with two walks and eight strikeouts in six innings and Bebout tossed a scoreless seventh.
WEST GREENE 2, GEIBEL CATHOLIC 0 – Dylan Hughes singled twice and knocked in the only two runs of the game as the visiting Pioneers triumphed over the Gators in a non-section clash.
West Greene scored one run in the fourth and one in the sixth. That was enough for winning pitcher Darren Knight who twirled a two-hit shutout with four walks and 11 strikeouts in his final game with the Pioneers.
Tough-luck losing pitcher Eahn Stevenson coughed up just two hits and one unearned run with no walks and 10 strikeouts in five innings. Zane Hixson relieved Stevenson and gave up one run on one hit with one walk and five strikeouts in two innings.
The only hits for Geibel were a double by Harrison Bechtold and a single by Stevenson.
