Jerry L. Jordan
Jerry L. “Sport” Jordan, 64, of Uniontown, passed away at home on Saturday May 16, 2026.
He was born September 4, 1961 in Brownsville, PA, a son of Leola Jordan Hugh of New Stanton and the late Jerry Jennings and step-father Merille Hugh.
In addition to his parents; Jerry is preceded in death by his brothers, Shawn Hugh, Vance Edward, and Damon Scott.
Jerry is survived by his wife Mary C. Jordan; children Shawna Jordan of Republic, Melody Jordan of Brownsville, Amy Jordan (Glenn Shuford) of Grindstone, and Joshua Jordan of Uniontown; grandchildren DeonDre, Kaylee, Kiara, Cammy, Korina, Kaitlyn, DaeSean, King, and Zyaira, Destiny, Pedo, Kinzleigh, Brynlee, Deon; sister Angela Weyandt (Charles) of New Stanton; and special friend Dwayne Faulk of Uniontown.
Jerry graduated from Laurel Highlands High School class of 1979. He held many different jobs but was previously employed through PennDot.
He loved spending time with everyone at family gatherings especially cook outs. He enjoyed wrestling and football.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, HOPWOOD on Tuesday May 19 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday May 20 from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
