Eleanor C. Bigam, 89, of Lemont Furnace, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in WVU Uniontown Hospital. She was born September 20, 1936, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Reid and Jessie Dean Grimm.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wade Sutton; her second husband, Marling Bigam; and her sons, Mark A. Sutton and David W. Sutton.
Eleanor is survived by her brothers, Richard A. Grimm Sr. and Pat of Lemont Furnace, and Kenny Grimm and Tangy of Dunbar; as well as her grandson, David S. Anderson of Tucson, Ariz.
She was a dedicated member of the North Union Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was also a former member of the AMVETS Post 103 Ladies Auxiliary.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood. In accordance with Eleanor’s wishes, all services will be private. Interment will be held in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smithfield.
