Mr. Dennis G. Hutson, Sr., 78, of McClellandtown, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, in his home.
He was born in Uniontown August 12, 1947, to the late Joseph and Lorene Brundege Hutson.
Dennis graduated from German Township High School, Class of 1967.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War era.
Dennis married Linda Heeter April 4, 1968.
He worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard for over 20 years.
Dennis attended Jacobs Lutheran Church in Masontown.
He was fond of the family cats, Max and Oliver
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Linda Hutson of McClellandtown; a daughter, Denise Hutson of Rhode Island; a son, Michael Hutson of New Salem; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; three siblings, Francis Hutson and wife Shirley, Joe Hutson and wife Patricia, and Barbara Hutson-Blatchford and husband Charlie; two sister-in-laws, Phyllis Hutson and Pam Hutson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis G. Hutson, Jr.; and four siblings, Robert Hutson, Jimmy Hutson, William Hutson, and Shelby Hutson.
