Audrey M. Marker, 90, of Allison, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025. She was born December 3, 1934, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Albert and Inez Miller Bennett.
Audrey was a member of The First Christian Church of Brownsville. She was a past member of the Proverbs 31 quilting guild at her church. Audrey loved to bake and cook dinners, especially for the holidays.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, LeRoy R. Marker; daughter, Linda Kay Rochek; siblings and their spouses, Florence (David) Keller, Beatrice (Dale) Johnson, Albert (Margaret) Bennett, Thelma (James) Shipe, and Eileen Bennett; and nephew, Robert Johnson.
Audrey was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Only two months ago she moved to Georgia to be near her greatest loves, her grandson and three great-grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by her son, Richard Marker and wife Denise; her daughter, LuAnn DelVerme and husband Lou; son-in-law, Gary Rochek; grandson, Matt DelVerme and wife Rachel; along with three great- grandchildren, Emerson, Olivia, and Cameron DelVerme; brother, William Bennett and wife Pat; and many nieces and nephews.
She lived her life worthy of “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Audrey will be missed by many.
Friends will be received in The Allison Christian Church, East Avenue, Allison, from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 12 noon Wednesday, October 29, with the Rev. Michael Peton officiating. Interment to follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
