Timothy “Tim” Robert Watts, 78, of Vanderbilt, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, in his home, with his loving family at his side. He was born May 29, 1947 in Pittsburgh, a son of Robert W. and Dorothy Blake Watts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Barbara Jean Norris Watts (August 1, 2025); brother, Fred Watts; sister, Kathy Rawe; and son-in- law, Les Wells.

Tim retired from the Coast Guard after 20 years of service as a senior chief boatswain’s mate in 1984. He then retired as a port captain from Mon River Towing in 2007. He enjoyed his retirement years working at Cedar Brook Golf Course.

Tim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Tim is survived by his three children, Jamie Helbig (Ron), Tracy Goggin (Jason), Mark Watts (Nikki); five stepchildren, David Berry (Terry), Susan Dunn (Craig), Michele Wells, Alan Berry (Carrie), and Michael Berry (Laurene). They were also blessed with 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also, sister, Denise Voskamp (Mark); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In honor of Tim’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. The family asks that any gifts be donated to a charity of one’s choice.

Tim’s professional funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Perryopolis.
