David L. “Dave” Klippi, 69, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully, in his home, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with his family and very good friend by his side.
He was born June 11, 1955, in Uniontown, a son of the late Edward and Laura Bowers Klippi.
Dave was a member of St. Therese de LiSieux Roman Catholic Church of Uniontown.
He was employed at LaFayette Memorial Park and then worked at Uniontown Hospital.
Dave was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Tissue Klippi; two brothers, Robert Klippi and Edward Klippi.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Anselma “Angie” Crapp Klippi; son, David L. Klippi, Jr.; and three stepchildren, whom he raised as his own: Jerry Kensinger and his wife, Michele; John Kensinger and his wife, Laura; Shanna Kensinger; and Mark Cancilla; four grandchildren, Andrew, Jack, Sarah and Shelby Kensinger; his brother, Gary W. Klippi and Janet Sullivan; sister, Kathy D. Tajc and her husband, Andrew; sister-in-law, Jeanette Klippi; many nieces, nephews, and too many friends to mention.
A very special thank you to Pastor Dennis and his wife, Carol Cox for their weekly visits, prayers, and all of their support.
A very special thank you to Thelma and Kelly from Amedisys Healthcare, and Rhianon and Nicole from Amedisys Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 4, in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, where visitation continues Monday, May 5, from 9 until the time of a funeral service at 10 a.m., with Pastor Dennis Cox and the Rev. Fr. Anthony Klimko officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
