Yvonne C. “Cherrie” Minerd, 66, of Uniontown, died on Saturday,, June 14, 2025 in WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital.
She was born on October 19, 1958, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Leonard and Emma Ruth Cravener Hettenschuller.
She is survived by her daughters: Beth Mayher Popham and her husband, Donald of Upatoi, Ga., Kimberly Mayher and her fiance, Dave Hromada of Republic and Amber Ciganic and her husband, John of Cranberry; her grandchildren: Kalon Popham, David and Aubrey Hromada and Cole Ciganic; her sister, Patricia Hettenschuller of Uniontown; niece, Jennifer Roberts and her children, Destiny and Mariah Jones of Uniontown; nephew, James Hetter of Ohio and nephew, Brian Gillam of New Salem.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth T. Minerd in 2011 and a daughter, Nikki Chambers.
There will be no public viewing or services. All arrangements are under the direction of the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville.
