Mr. Kenneth J. Ozanick, 63, of Lemont Furnace, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Shadyside Hospital, from a hard-fought battle with cancer.

He was born August 17, 1961, in Royal, to the late George and Helen Bulina Ozanick.

Kenny graduated from Brownsville High School, Class of 1979.

He married Polly Oberleitner June 20, 1981.

Kenny worked at United Parcel Services, Kenny’s Market, Kenny O’s Dog Food, Kenny’s Laundromat, Kroger, Clyde Mine, and Archway Cookie.

He was a member of St. Therese Church and numerous hunting and fishing clubs.

Kenny was an avid softball player, and coached softball with his children. He enjoyed working out at the Uniontown YMCA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Kenny was a loving and caring man and was well known for helping others. He was there for you no matter what time of day you needed him.

He was hard-working, strong, and defied all odds. He was very funny with a personality like no other, always fun to be around, and was one of a kind. He will be immensely missed.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ozanick.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Polly Ozanick; daughter, April Ozanick- Rishel and husband Kevin; three grandchildren, Rhylan, Breelyn and Bryce; four siblings, George Ozanick and wife Judy, Linda Davis and husband Jim, Judy Carpeal and husband Rob, and Marlene Klamerus and husband Mike; nieces and nephews, Beth Yates and husband Eric, Georgie Ozanick, Ashley Copeland and husband Cody, Joy Robinson, Jill Michaloski and husband Chris, Joe Carpeal and wife Taylor, Mikie Klamerus and wife Sheila, Megan Zivkovich and husband Chris; great-nieces and nephews, Baylie, Brooke, Addison, Arianna, Alena, Gianna, Kayla, Karlee, Briella, Brynne, Blayke, Mikie and Macy; sisters- in-law, Bev George and Trisha Oberleither; his nieces and nephews, Liz George-Shah and husband Parag, Eli George and wife Heather, and Ryan Oberleitner; great- niece and nephew, Sophia and Noah; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents and daughter, he was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Joe and Edna Oberleitner; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Oberleitner and Eli George; nephews, John Shinsky and Robert Carpeal; and great-niece, Haley.

Visitation for Kenny will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, PA 15401, where visitation continues from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at which time the blessing service will be held, Wednesday, June 18.

Entombment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
