Rheba Jane Shiffbauer Maust
formerly of Uniontown
Rheba Jane Shiffbauer Maust, 89, of Williamsburg, Va., formerly of Uniontown, passed Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was born November 2, 1935, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Frank and Leota Bryner Schiffbauer.
She was the beloved wife of the late James M. “Jim” Maust; and was also preceded in death by her siblings, Alice Gill and Henry Schiffbauer.
She was the mother of Barbara Cummings; grandmother of Tana Cummings; a very special cousin, Mary Elizabeth Kozelka.
Rheba was a graduate of North Union High School in 1953.
She worked at Ohio Bell in Bank of Ohio and Rockwell Sensus Technology for 31 years.
A viewing will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, in STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown. St. Joan of Arc Ladies Guild will recite the Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. On Friday, August 1, Prayers of Transfer will be offered at 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, Farmington.
Interment to follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
