Bonnie Jean Wolverton Yeager, 73, of Lake Lynn, died Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., following a brief illness. Born in Morgantown October 8, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Helen Burke Wolverton.

A 1970 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School, Bonnie had worked in the laundry at WVU Hospital, and later in housekeeping for the Holiday Inn in Morgantown.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of nearly 35 years, Jerry L. Yeager; five children and their spouses, Joe Uhler (Tabitha), Jerry Yeager (Carrie), Eric Yeager (Tina Thomas-Kohrman), Ryan Yeager, and April Yeager; nine grandchildren, Eli and Cameron Henigen, Max and Logan Uhler, Patrick, Jay and Shepherd Yeager, David Peet, Jr., and Maya Gleeson; a brother, Jack J. Wolverton (Olivia); sisters, Mary C. Varano and Moneen K. Lynn; and a number of loving nieces, nephews and many friends

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Elbert “Al” Wolverton; and two sisters, Loretta “Lori” Jones and Gladys A. Sebulsky.

Family and friends will gather in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Philip S. Rishel, director, from 2 to 4 p.m., when a memorial service will begin, Thursday, July 31, with the Rev. David Lee Corob officiating.
