Anna Marie “Annie” Gallis Horvath, 97, of West Leisenring, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Boca Raton, Fla.

Ann was born August 11, 1927, a daughter of Anna and Joseph Gallis of Youngstown, Pa., originally from Croatia (Yugoslavia). She was the last living child of 11.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; her husband, Emil “Sticky” Horvath (1990); infant child, Dennis (1948); daughter, Karen (2002); and her lovable chihuahua, Princess Mia (2024).

Anna is survived by her children: son, Dr. Michael A. Horvath, DDS of Manhattan, N.Y.; and daughters, Maureen Sloter and husband Dennis of Boca Raton, and LeeAnn Park and husband Thomas Park of Brownsville.

Cooking, baking, gardening, jigsaw puzzles, housework and Bingo were her passions. She loved being active and keeping busy as well as joking, laughing and talking with friends and family.

Ann’s favorite flowers were sunflowers and roses.

She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1669 Ladies Auxiliary.
