William Carson “Billie” Tate, 57, of Smock, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in WVU Uniontown Hospital.
He was born March 3, 1968, in Uniontown.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Grant Tate and Helen Mae Poole Tate; sister Diahann; and brothers- in-law, John Tolliver and John Fowler.
Surviving are his loving siblings, Rob Tate, Tammy Fowler, Nancy Tolliver and Ronald Tate; and many other loving family members.
The family will receive friends and familyfrom 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 14, in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, where visitation continues Tuesday, July 15, from 10 until the 11 a.m. hour of service, with his sister, Mrs. Nancy Tate Tolliver, officiating. Interment follows in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance.
The family extends the gratitude of many thanks to Fayette Resources for all of the loving care given to Billie over the years.
