Jessica Marie Pecsko Gmutza, 39, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband and family. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend, Jessica’s generous spirit and joyful heart touched everyone she met.

Jessica is survived by her beloved husband, Paul, whom she adored, admired and loved with all her heart, and by their two children, Arabella and Dean, who were the light and love of her life.

She was the cherished daughter of Donna Pecsko and Charles Pecsko Jr., having been born on February 3, 1986; and the granddaughter of James E. Roth and the late Dolores Roth, and of Charles Pecsko Sr. and Bernadette Pecsko. She was the loving sister of Charles Pecsko III (Maria) and Michael Pecsko (Alexandra). She was a devoted aunt to their children: Aubrey, Charles IV and Hanna, children of Charles and Maria; and Michael Jr. and Francesca, children of Michael and Alexandra.

Her loving mother-in-law, Roxanne Gmutza, survives her, and she is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Albert Gmutza. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Allyson Gmutza (Shawn Churby) and Arianne Gmutza (Bill Knerr), and was a devoted aunt to their children as well: Sophia and Maria, daughters of Allyson; and McKinley and Skylar, daughters of Arianne.

Jessica leaves behind a large and deeply connected extended family, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her. On her mother Donna’s side, she is survived by aunts and uncles Debbie Correal (Chuck), her Godparents Karen Ciez (Carl), and James Roth (Carrie), and is preceded in death by her aunt Janet Potkul.

On her father’s side, she is survived by Cindy Hanula (Tony), Ed Pecsko (Teri), Connie Syner (Joe), Patty Erminio (Bruce), and Terry Shimko (Mike).

Jessica was known for being funloving, adventurous, compassionate, and deeply loyal. She loved her husband Paul wholeheartedly, and her devotion to her children and family was unwavering. Guided by her faith in Jesus Christ and her Roman Catholic beliefs, she found comfort, hope, and strength throughout her life and especially during her illness. Her courageous battle with cancer was a testament to her resilience, grace, and remarkable inner strength, inspiring all.

She worked early on at the Holiday Inn and later at Hobby Lobby, where she formed lasting friendships and became cherished by coworkers and customers alike. Throughout her courageous battle, many friends, relatives, and loved ones stood by her side, offering support, strength, prayers, and kindness she never took for granted.

Her contagious laughter, kindness, beautiful smile, and loving spirit leave an imprint that will be forever treasured. Jessica’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, especially in the hearts of her husband, Paul, and her children, Arabella and Dean.
