Raymond F. Savage, 88, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 26, 2025. He was born July 15, 1936, in Uniontown, a son of the late Raymond and Marian Kovach Savage.
Raymond was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church.
For over 30 years he worked for Thorofare Supermarkets as a manager, assistant manager and various other store positions when needed. He formerly owned and operated an auto repair and auto body shop.
Raymond was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed working on cars, gardening, hunting, and sharing conversations and information as a CBer.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Terri Kolencik (Jerome) of Uniontown, and Laurie Savage of Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren, Derek Kolencik and Briana James (Christian), both of Uniontown; and his brother, Donald Savage (Donna) of McClellandtown.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, where visitation continues until the 11 a.m. hour of service Wednesday, April 30.
Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield.
