Police briefs May 4

SOUTH UNION TOWNSHIP
Terroristic threats: John Burleson, 54, of Pershing Court in Uniontown, was charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct for allegations of threatening two of his neighbors on Thursday. Police said he also threatened to kill a dog owned by one of the neighbors. District Judge Nathan Henning denied bail. The reasons stated were that Burleson was a threat to himself or others, that he needed a mental health evaluation and that he showed “no remorse, stated not sorry.” Burleson will have a preliminary hearing at a later date.
