California United Methodist Church’s Care and Share Thrift Store has the following sales: March 19-20, 50% off spring coats and short-sleeved tops; March 26-27, $1 children’s clothing. The store is open from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.

Help is needed with unloading the food bank truck at the First Christian Church, 512 Second St., Brownsville on Friday, March 27 at 9 a.m. The food bank is on Saturday, March 28 from 9 – 10:30 a.m.

Pleasant View Presbyterian Church in Smock is sponsoring “Loads of Love” days at Mod Laundromat, 503 Union St., Brownsville on Sunday, March 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. Those who need help paying for laundry costs are invited to do their laundry at this time.

The Brownsville Area Ministerial Association’s Food For Falcons food program is collecting Pop-Tarts and ravioli bowls during the months of March and April. There will be a donation area in each participating BAMA church.

Mon Valley Academy for the Arts (MVAA) invites teens to participate in its ongoing Crafty Conversations program, held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center, 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville. The free sessions offer teens a chance to express themselves artistically.
