Setting the stage
Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has partnered with Corner Cupboard to start a drive-up food distribution at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The first will be held April 1 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The next one is scheduled for May 6 at the same times. The distribution is open to anyone, and will take place monthly. The fairgrounds is located at 107 Fairgrounds Road, Waynesburg.

A Uniontown woman is accused of attempting to throw a child out of a third-story window and holding him in a tub of water while babysitting. Vira Zabudko, 40, had been asked to watch Karen Garcia鈥檚 5-year-old son and his 11-year-old brother at her apartment on Berkeley Street while Garcia was moving some of her items, according to court paperwork.
